There are lots of restaurants and shopping facilities close by. Canal Walk, one of the biggest shopping malls of South Africa, is situated in Milnerton in the new Century City Complex. Apart from the numerous sights of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula the wine routes of Durbanville, Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are reachable by car in only about 30 - 45 minutes.
